Peer support in development
Small, specific help, offered both ways
Seren is building simple peer-support opportunities where members can ask for useful help and offer it in return. Think of someone reading an abstract before it goes out, or listening to a practice talk before the real one.
These mechanisms are still taking shape. We are sharing what we intend to offer so you can see how it might fit into your own professional or personal life.

Practical support
Two areas we are developing first
Each exchange is specific, time-bound and reciprocal. Members can take part as the person asking, the person offering, or both.
Rehearsing a presentation
A member shares a talk or practice presentation, and a peer listens and gives clear, kind feedback on pacing, clarity and structure. Useful before a conference, seminar or interview.
Reviewing an abstract
A member shares a draft abstract, and a peer reads it for clarity, focus and whether the key message lands. It is a practical second pair of eyes, not a formal peer review.
Giving and receiving
We want women to have room to receive help, offer it, and get to know one another beyond the work.
